Our Story

The building that houses the Fox & Goose has a history stretching back more than five centuries. Originally constructed as the village Guildhall around 1509, the timber-framed building later became an inn and today remains a central part of Fressingfield village life.

It is now recognised as a Grade II* listed building, reflecting its historic and architectural importance.

Over the years the Fox & Goose has been awarded AA 2 Rosettes and has been featured in respected guides including Michelin and Harden’s food guides.
